I chose Rowlett as my starter since I never played Gen 7. I also liked the default character's design enough that I ended up not giving her the usual makeover I give my player characters.
Posing with your Pokemon for photos with the pinhole camera was fun but more effort than it was worth. I do like how it evolved into the selfie system in Scarlet and Violet.

Atop one of Paldea's tallest peaks. I like how the music cuts out when you're at the top of a mountain so that all you hear is the wind. It's a nice touch
