I'm Alexandra Higgins (she/her). I usually go by Alex!
This site was born out of my belief in a decentralized internet and serves as a space for my writing and creative work. Most of work consists of games - usually digital, sometimes not. I started making video games when I was 12 and have been releasing them online for almost as long.
I also showcase games at festivals, events, and conventions, sometimes by myself, but sometimes as part of Underground Arcade Collective which I cofounded with Stephen Thomas in 2017. John D. Moore came along for the ride shortly afterward. Some of my games are collaborative projects, but I usually work solo, making me by extension a designer, writer, programmer, artist, animator, and composer.
